We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team at Oaklands Solicitors in Haslingden
Location: Haslingden BB4 5ST
The purpose of the apprenticeship will be to gain accounting experience, working within the accounts department and assisting with the smooth running of the practice. The successful candidate will also gain an insight into a working solicitors firm.
What you will learn.
You will work towards Level 2 AAT qualification alongside your role and gain experience alongside. see www.aat.org for the career road map!
- Daily imports
- Dealing with invoices
- Paying customers via checks
- Matching credit card receipts to statements
- Entering receipts into sage
- Daily banking
- Managing cheques (inputting on spreadsheets & writing them up)

- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

- Sound organisational skills
Qualifications Required
- GCSE – Grade 4 or above including Maths and English
