Blackburn College are pleased to partner with Witton Park Academy to help secure a Admin Apprentice within their friendly team 

This amazing opportunity has arisen for an individual wishing to embark on their admin and customer service career.

The successful apprentice will study the Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship at Blackburn College one day a week. Applicants will also attend an initial assessment at Blackburn College prior to submission to the employer.

Key Functions

  • Provide general administration support.
  • Field and make telephone calls, assist parents, pupils and staff with enquiries.
  • Assist with school attendance recording including missing marks in registers.
  • Maintain records including updating the school management information system.
  • Assist in making parental appointments.Work as part of a team and support others.
  • Undertake personal development and participate in other training activities as required.
  • Provide general advice and guidance to staff pupils and others.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of confidentiality and abide by confidentiality requirements in
    relation to duties undertaken in the role.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Numeracy, accuracy, and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent, proven organisational skills. • IT Competent
  • Some experience working in office/solicitors office preferable
  • Confident individual with a proactive attitude.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings
  • Good time keeping with an eagerness to learn and progress
