We are so pleased to be working with Advocacy Focus who are seeking their next Apprentice Administrator to work at their offices in Altham.

Advocacy Focus is a well established service who provide advocacy support to individuals who may face difficutly making decisions, or have difficulty communicating their thoughts, neeeds and wishes

This opportunity is a fantastic new role for anyone looking to embark on their admininstrative career journey, within the Operations Team.

The successful apprentice will:

  • To provide full administrative support and assistance to the Operations Team, including People admin, Finance admin, Training admin, Marketing admin and Health & Safety admin.
  • Support the People Manager with duties in relation to the recruitment and selection process, and any other associated personnel duties.
  • Assist and prepare or amend any confidential information relating to our team.
  • Take responsibility for updating our Evalu8 personnel management system.
  • Assist in sourcing training and helping to arrange team meetings, organise associated venues and help with the preparation.
  • To organise Board Meetings both face to face and via MS Teams
  • To take responsibility for our in-house training platform and associated tasks.
  • To assist the Operations Coordinator in troubleshooting general IT and equipment issues.
  • To help review, evaluate and monitor business processes.
  • To work as a member of the team and attend monthly team meetings.
  • Undertake other duties, such as projects to fulfil the Business Admin apprenticeship standard.

Skills Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,including the ability to confidently engage with people from diverse backgrounds, both face to face and over the telephone.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant computer systems and applications.
  • IT literate.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Eye for details.
  • Accuracy.
  • Problem solving skills.

Qualifications Required

GSCE English and Maths, Grades A*-C or 4-9
