Collecting Your Results 

You'll be able to collect your GCSE results from the Exams Department in the Beacon Centre on:

From - 8:00AM

Students can collect their physical results until 2:00pm.

Adult learners can pick up their Maths, English and Biology results.

If you are unable to collect your results, they will be emailed out to you. You can come to College anytime and collect your physical certificates from Registry.

The Beacon Centre is building number 1 on the campus map which you can view below.

You can park for free on the Blackburn College campus on this day.

You’ve got the results you need for the next course:

Congratulations! All you need to do is see your tutor to re-enrol. Enrolment is taking place in the University Centre Blackburn College. There will be signs around the College campus to help guide you to the building.

If you’ve not got the results you were after:

There’s no need to worry about this. You can discuss all your options at enrolment with your subject tutor or anyone from the curriculum team. We also have our Career Team on hand to help you with any further questions you might have regarding your course and future. So make sure to visit them in the University Centre Atrium to help you plan your next steps.

FAQS

I still haven’t received my results. What do I do?

Results can be collect from 8am from the Beacon Centre and will be emailed out to your College email address from 10am. If by 12pm you have not received your results via email, please bob in to collect them or call 01254 292929 and ask to speak to someone in the Exams Department for advice.

The grade I achieved was not the grade I wanted/needed.

Please speak to you teacher. They will be able to offer advice and help with next steps.

I want a review of my results or a copy of my script. How do I request one?

Please speak to your teacher for advice as there is usually a fee for this service. They will be able to advise what service to apply for and the cost.

There’s an error with my results. Who do I contact?

Please call 01254 292929 and ask to speak to someone in the Exams Department for advice.

I’m on holiday when the results are released. How do I get my results?

Results will be emailed to your College email address from 10am where you will be able to access them. Unfortunately, the Exams Department will not be able to issue any results over the phone.

I’d like to resit. Who do I speak to?

Please speak to your teacher who will be able to advise the best course of action.
