Entry Requirements
This course is for practising electricians who have not carried out inspection and testing since qualifying or who require some update of training before going onto other City & Guilds qualifications.

What will I study?
The qualification is also suitable for those with limited experience of initial inspection and periodic inspection of electrical installations, such as those entering the industry from other engineering disciplines or who have been working in allied trades.
This qualification prepares candidates for the initial verification and periodic inspection of electrical installation work.
Candidates will complete Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing online multiple choice test (2391-052) and practical assignment (2391-502).

- Requirements for inspection and testing
- Safety management procedures when undertaking inspection and testing
- Requirements for the inspection of electrical installations
- Requirements for testing electrical installations

What can I do next?
You will receive a City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Inspection & Testing upon successful completion of the training, passing the online multiple choice exam and practical assessment.
