This assessment will enable gas engineers to expand their scope of work to include (LAU1) Domestic Gas Laundry Appliances. The assessment will cover tumble dryers and wash boilers.
A re-assessment for (LAU1) Laundry, which is required every five years, is also available at a reduced cost.

Training is available prior to carrying out the assessment if required.

Entry Requirements

Must already be accredited with either:
- (CNN1) Domestic Gas Safety,
- (COCDN1) Change over for Commercial Core to Domestic Gas.
For re-assessment, which is required every five years, candidates must already be accredited with Laundry (LAU1).

Candidates will complete a series of written and practical assessments.

What can I do next?

Candidates may consider looking to add other appliances such as (CKR1) Cookers , (DAH1) Warm Air Heating etc. to expand their scope of work.
