Overview
This Level 2 Public Services (Uniformed or Non-Uniformed) course is an introduction to the Public Services sector. The course will introduce you to the different employment opportunities there are within the Public Services and the type of work they do. You will develop and build the skills required for an entry role in Public Services.
Our Public Services tutors have between them over 40 years of experience and are well equipped to enhance your confidence, teamwork, discipline and communication skills.
You will take part in practical sessions (both fitness and sport), enjoy guest speakers from the Public services sector and go on residentials.
From this Level 2 course you can progress directly into the Military or stay within College and progress to Level 3 courses.

What will I study?
During this one year full-time study programme, students will study a wide range of subjects related to the Public Services sector and will be provided with the fundamental skills that are required for working in this disciplined environment. Students will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills both in the classroom and outdoors.

Entry Requirements
You will need 3 GCSEs at Grade 3.
If you have not achieved a Grade 4 or above in your Maths and English Language GCSEs you will be required to work towards a GCSE Grade 4 in these subjects as part of your Study Programme.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through written assignments and practical observations. There will also be one eternal assessment (exam).
