Your graduation ceremony will take place right around the corner from campus at King Georges Hall, Northgate, Blackburn, BB2 1AA.
What time is my ceremony?
There are two ceremonies taking place. One at 11am and another at 2pm. You will be sent an invitation in the post that will confirm your ceremony time. The invitations have been posted out to you. You will also be sent an invite via email too.
How will I receive my invite?
You will receive your invite via post and email! If you have changed your postal address or email since you started your course please email graduation@blackburn.ac.uk to let us know.
Can your invited guests sit alongside you during the ceremony?
Guests will be seated in a separate section but don't worry, they'll be in cheering distance!
Are guests given seat numbers?
Guests will be seated approximately 45 minutes before the ceremony and will be able to choose their own seats.
Will I be able to pick up my award certificate at the ceremony?
We have a stand on Graduation Day where Graduates will be able to come and collect their certificates. If you're unable to swing by on the day, don't worry! You can come to the campus and collect them any time afterwards as long as you bring some Photo ID.
Can I still access the platform on which I would receive my award if I have mobility issues?
There is ramp access to the platform, however please email graduation@blackburn.ac.uk to let us know if you need any special requirements.
How many tickets are available for each student/and is it possible to get extra tickets?
There are currently an unlimited number of ticket allocations per student, and will cost £10.00 for each guest you would like to invite (a ticket is required for children over the age of 2.) You will purchase your guest tickets here at the same time as you purchase your gown hire and photography package.

Once you have selected the amount of guest tickets that you want and you have purchased them, you will receive a confirmation email of payment. This will not specify your amount of tickets however you just quote your reference number to collect your tickets.
Where do I collect my tickets?
You will collect your graduate ticket and guest tickets at registration on the day of graduation.
Are children allowed to attend the ceremony?

Please note there are no childcare facilities at King George's Hall and prams and buggies are not permitted in the Hall and there is no storage.
